On a rainy night, Mitsuru Takada, dressed in her school uniform, unexpectedly visits Atsutaka Satou's house. Earlier that day, upon returning from school, Mitsuru discovered that her home had been claimed by someone else. Faced with various family challenges, she had moved between different relatives, ultimately finding herself homeless. Remembering the close bond between their late mothers, Mitsuru reached out to Atsutaka for assistance, and they pledged mutual support. Atsutaka found himself suddenly thrust into cohabitation with Mitsuru, hoping to gradually build a closer relationship with her.
